ABOUT TOM

Back in 1981 (when pagers were still popular), California native Tom Squier’s career in the solar thermal industry started with commercial solar and new construction plumbing projects (anything that paid the bills). In 1995, he started moving up the ranks when he was named Service Manager for a Teledyne Laars Heating representative company (who we still work closely with today).

In 2001, Tom launched his own boiler service company, Pacific Energy Service (PESI) with the mission of creating a company with generational change for its employees. He studied entrepreneurial leadership at Babson College (Go Beavers) which helped prepare him to manage his company from Texas.

Tom holds contracting licenses in Solar (C-46), Plumbing (C-36) and Boilers and Pressure Vessels (C-4). He has provided instructional trade classes for PHCC, NAHB, and SEIA in Solar and Boiler Technology and has had articles published in various trade publications. His greatest accomplishment is his marriage of 31 years and his 2 daughters (dad jokes for days).
