ABOUT SCOTT

Scott Whitbread is the founder of Elite Manufacturing, LLC, a boutique firm providing top-tier operations consulting services to small and mid-sized industrial businesses. He has over twenty years of experience helping manufacturers and distributors to increase profits and cash flows, having led over 200 performance improvement projects across more than 100 industrial facilities. Scott has deep experience in all aspects of manufacturing performance improvement (throughput/quality/yield/cost), margin enhancement, industrial capital projects, technical problem solving and shop floor change management across a number on industries including food & beverage, pulp & paper, packaging, chemicals, paints & coatings, oil & gas, mining & metals, aerospace & defense and other diversified industrials. Prior to founding his own firm, Scott was an Executive Director with B. Riley Operations Management Services, an operational turnaround firm focused on mid-sized industrial businesses in the United States. Before that he was an Executive Director with Ernst & Young’s M&A practice, helping private equity investors to evaluate industrial acquisitions and then maximize their value after closing. And prior to that he was a Partner with Stroud International, an elite manufacturing consulting boutique, focused on realizing the hidden potential within manufacturing processes of all types. Scott holds a Bachelor of Environmental Engineering from the University of New South Wales.
