ABOUT THOMAS
Tom Heptig is a Financial Advisor and partner of the Heptig Kempkes Group at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. Joining from a large Private Bank, he focuses on helping wealthy families accomplish their financial goals to include retirement, generational planning and philanthropic giving. He is a Certified Exit Planning Advisor professional helping small business owners integrate their personal and business financial plans. Tom believes that integrity, communication and transparency are crucial to all client relationships.
Prior to his finance career, Tom served as a pilot in the U.S. Navy. As a P-3C Orion Plane Commander, he conducted missions in Bosnia and Kosovo, performed counter-narcotic missions in the Caribbean and flew coastal surveillance missions off New York City just days after 9/11.
Tom holds a B.S. from the United States Naval Academy and an MBA from Norwich University. He lives in Rockville Centre, NY with his wife and two sons. Tom remains active in a number of veteran oriented non-profit organizations and volunteers as a Blue and Gold Officer for the U.S. Naval Academy's Admissions Office.
