Meet Steven Dowe:

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE 

Steve joined Webster Bank in January 2014 to help establish and build Webster's commercial banking office in New York as part of the forum's strategic expansion in the U.S. Northeast and Mid-Atlantic markets. In 2021, Steve was appointed Head of Healthcare Middle Market Banking to lead the business and geographic expansion of Webster's Middle Market Healthcare vertical across the eastern U.S.

Steve's financial services career spans 30 years. Prior to Webster, Steve was a Senior Managing Director at CIT Healthcare where he played an integral role in building a highly successful healthcare finance and advisory franchise. Steve managed origination and portfolio teams that closed over $12 billion in lead arranged club and syndicated financings for healthcare companies across all subsectors and managed a $2.0 billion leveraged loan portfolio. Prior to CIT healthcare, he was a senior originator with CIT Energy responsible for structuring complex non-recourse project financings for a wide variety of assets in the energy sector.

Prior to CIT, Steve was a Vice President in the Investment Banking Division at Credit Suisse First Boston where he structured and arranged complex project financings for private and public energy companies in the syndicated loan and debit capital markets.
