Steve Sprindis is Co-Founder and Managing Director of Waypoint Private Capital in Madison, Wisconsin, bringing more than 30 years of experience in sell-side M&A, capital sourcing, private equity, investment management, and executive leadership. He has advised on more than 100 M&A and capital-sourcing transactions totaling over $1 billion in value. His background spans operational roles (including CFO for companies in healthcare services, fintech, real estate development/management, distribution, and consulting), private equity investing (lower middle-market focus), and investment banking in mergers, private placements of equity, and debt financing. Steve holds an MBA from University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BBA in Finance from University of Wisconsin–Madison, has earned the CFA designation, and is a principal and registered representative through Waypoint’s broker-dealer affiliate (having passed the Series 24, 63, 79 and 82 securities exams).
