ABOUT BRIAN
Brian Hoblit is a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®) and Director of Capital Market Services at CTW, a Roseville California based, accounting firm. The Capital Market Services division was founded in 2025 to provide dedicated, transaction-focused advisory services that help business owners prepare for and execute successful capital events.
Brian brings a unique combination of transactional, operational, and advisory experience. Prior to joining CTW, he spent over a decade in commercial lending, served in senior finance roles including CFO positions, and spent more than half a decade in private equity where he evaluated and invested in founder-owned businesses. This background gives him a practical, investor-informed perspective on what drives value and where deals often break down.
At CTW, Brian leads engagements focused on financial readiness, quality of earnings, KPI development, working capital optimization, and strategic planning. He works alongside business owners and their advisors to ensure companies are prepared not just to transact, but to achieve optimal outcomes. His approach aligns closely with the Value Acceleration Methodology, emphasizing proactive planning well in advance of a transition, and views all engagement through the lens of a former investor.
Brian is actively involved in the middle-market deal community and serves as Co-Chair of the Sacramento Chapter of Association for Corporate Growth, further connecting him with investors, advisors, and operators focused on growth and value creation.
He is passionate about helping business owners avoid common pitfalls in the exit process and believes that the most successful outcomes are achieved when preparation begins years before a transaction.
