ABOUT PATRICK
Paul Chase is the founder of Off-Ramp Advisors LLC, a Lancaster, Pennsylvania-based exit advisory practice focused exclusively on lower middle-market business owners navigating distressed or unplanned transitions. He specializes in the space between a healthy business and a forced outcome — working with owners who face a triggering event before a formal exit plan is in place.
Paul works with owner-operated businesses generating $3 million to $15 million in annual revenue across manufacturing, distribution, professional services, and construction. His engagements are concentrated in the five D's — death, disability, divorce, disagreement, and distress — with a particular focus on situations where time is a factor and options are narrowing.
His process begins with a collaborative diagnostic assessment to establish a clear picture of the business's financial position, ownership goals, and stakeholder impact, followed by a disciplined transaction process designed to produce the best available outcome for the owner, the employees, and the obligations involved.
Paul brings a direct, honest approach to situations that most advisors avoid — the ones where the exit is not planned, the timeline is not ideal, and the owner needs a real answer, not a soft one.
