ABOUT LAURA
Laura Russell-Jones is a Senior Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley. For over 15 years, she has focused on women investors, business owners, high-net individuals and their families to stay on course with their financial planning and investment strategy. She is particularly focused on tax-efficient investments, income-generating investments, alternative investments (within public and private markets), and risk management. As a "Certified Exit Planning Advisor "(CEPA), she works with business owners contemplating the sale of their business to better understand their exit options and how to enhance the value of their business and wealth. She works closely with other key advisors (tax, estate attorneys, CPA, M&A investment) to provide strategic financial and investment advice. As an "Investing with Impact Director", she also focuses on aligning clients' goals with their investments that have a positive environmental and social impact. (i.e.: fossil-free, energy efficient, diversity/equality/inclusion, etc.) Many clients have sustainable, B-corp businesses, while others want to be more intentional with their wealth.
Prior to becoming a Wealth Manager, she worked with a Mergers and Acquisitions investment banking firm. She is a former business owner. She currently serves on the California Board of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO-California) and was President of the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter. (NAWBO-SFBA) She is a member of the Women Presidents Organization (WPO).
