James Grieve is the Founder and Principal Strategic Business Advisor at Value Driver, working with founder-led and family-owned businesses to build, scale, and transition high-performing organizations. As a Certified Exit Planning Advisor, he focuses on aligning strategy, operations, and leadership to drive enterprise value and support successful transition outcomes.

With over 25 years of experience in business strategy, operations, and customer experience, James brings a practical, implementation-focused approach to value creation. Through Value Driver, he partners closely with business owners to strengthen operating models, improve performance, and reduce dependency on the founder—ensuring businesses are resilient, transferable, and positioned for long-term success.

Value Driver is grounded in a structured, stage-based methodology that supports businesses through start-up, scale-up, sustainment, and succession.
