ABOUT KATIE
Katie Collins established Pathway Philanthropic Solutions in 2023, born from her time guiding both funders and non-profits over a career that spans over two decades. Her work is deeply rooted in the notion of breaking down silos within the philanthropic sector and prioritizes creating actionable resources and strategies to help clients achieve their goals to charting greater impact. In addition to Katie’s work supporting funder, non-profit and advisor clients, she prioritizes collaboration and connectivity amongst her philanthropic and non-profit peers, leading to a stronger ecosystem and community. Katie’s passion for working with non-profits began within the Development Office at Dana-Farber where she played a leadership role in helping Dana Farber become the first hospital in New England to successfully raise $1 billion in a capital campaign. Following that, she joined the Private Donor Group team at Fidelity Charitable where she served as a Philanthropic Strategist supporting individual donors and families, and also helped to establish Fidelity’s Next Gen Fellows Program. At Fiduciary Trust Company she was deeply involved in client relationships and portfolio management as a VP and Investment Officer. Her industry involvement extends to various Board and Committee positions, including her current role on the Board of Advisors for Community Servings. Katie resides in the Boston area with her husband and three children. Outside of work, you can find her on the sidelines of her children’s various sports games or hiking with her rescue dog, Henry.
