ABOUT CHRISTINE

Next Haven Group is a long-term hold investment vehicle founded by former executive Christine Koval. We help owners exit the day-to-day operations of their business, offering a fair price, cash upfront, and a CEO succession plan. We invest to grow what already works, benefiting teams with more promotions, less manual work, and wealth creation opportunities from employee ownership. Christine brings operating experience, having most recently built a consumer financial services brand from the ground up, reaching $2 million in ARR and a 100+ person team in the first year. Previously, she helped scale Chewy.com from start-up to IPO, growing revenue $10 billion in 5 years. Christine also helped teach new venture strategy at the University of Chicago’s MBA program. Her transaction experience includes two exits at Chewy.com (sale and IPO), leading partnership deals with publicly traded companies, and support from committed capital partners with over 300 closed transitions and a 35.1% IRR as of 2023.
