Growing up on a thoroughbred racehorse farm with entrepreneurial parents, Josh developed a strong work ethic and a keen understanding of business from an early age. 

Josh’s career in banking is marked by rapid progression to senior executive roles, where he gained extensive experience in business development, operational efficiency, and risk management. Over two decades, he partnered with businesses across a wide range of industries, supporting their financial growth and operational success. He developed creative financial solutions, navigated complex credit scenarios, and facilitated substantial M&A transactions that empowered clients to achieve their goals. This hands-on experience with diverse business challenges has equipped him with a deep understanding of the strategies and tools necessary to help businesses thrive.

Recognizing the limitations of traditional banking roles, which often restricted the scope of assistance he could provide, Josh founded Braided Cord Consultancy. The firm allows him to offer more holistic and personalized support, addressing a business’s strategic, financial, and operational needs. His 20 plus years of working with business owners led him to realize that while some go into a business just seeking an income, most want build the value of their business over a period of time. However, very few business owners know the actual value of their businesses and, more importantly, how that value is determined and how to extract it.
