ABOUT MARGOT
Margot DeKorte Lewis is an associate at Bressler, Amery, & Ross in the firm’s Private Client group in the New Jersey office. She focuses her practice primarily on estate planning and administration. Before joining Bressler, Margot was an associate at a prominent New Jersey firm, where she gained experience in general corporate matters, closely-held business succession planning, and estate planning. Margot also worked as a staff attorney at a boutique estate planning firm, where she drafted wills, durable powers of attorney, and health care directives. A graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law, Margot was a member of the Family Law Clinic at the Law School’s Center for Social Justice. As a summer associate during law school, Margot successfully represented a victim of domestic violence who obtained a final restraining order in the Somerset County Superior Court, Family Division. While pursuing her M.A. from the Boston University School of Social Work, Margot interned at the Boston Office for Public Counsel as an advocate for juvenile offenders. Margot earned her B.A. in English with a Psychology minor from the College of the Holy Cross.
