GROWTH & IMPACT WEEK SPEAKER LINEUP
The speakers at Growth and Impact Week are award-winning advisors, operators, and thought leaders who don’t just understand growth and impact, they execute it. Each speaker has been selected for their ability to translate methodology into real-world implementation, sharing how they’ve built in-demand practices through intentional, ROI-driven relationships with business owners. Expect candid perspectives, practical frameworks, and honest discussion around what works in today’s market, from client selection and trust-building to accountability, culture, and value creation. This is not a stage of theorists; it’s a room of practitioners committed to helping you apply what you learn and accelerate results in your firm.

ABOUT JIM
I was raised in a small Oklahoma town by loving parents who spent their working lives in the public-school system. I am a product of the church, classroom and ballfields of my youth. I spent two decades working in the commercial insurance industry in three different states before I found my true calling as a financial advisor for Edward Jones in 2014. Since joining the firm, I have committed myself to academic excellence by gaining three industry designations and a master's in personal financial planning.
Our branch office in downtown Marble Falls serves clients all across America. Elise and Jodi run the office like a well-oiled machine. We enjoy the work we do, and we enjoy working with each other in a team environment. We take our work very seriously and even more so when working with the elderly, widows and widowers. We have personal relationships up and down the family tree with our clients, sometimes extending four generations. Our working relationships with CPAs and attorneys are also very important to our clients' financial outcomes.
We service a number of foundations, trusts and 401(k) plans. Our clients should expect to have a strategy in place to address an untimely death, disability and the cost of long-term care expenses. Charity-minded clients enjoy gifting appreciated assets either directly or deferred through their own donor-advised fund.
My wife, Kristy, is the assistant city manager for the city of Boerne, TX. I serve as the president elect of The Marble Falls Passport Rotary Club and serve my fellow Edward Jones peers as solutions system coach. Kristy and I enjoy the challenge of our work, but we also enjoy spending downtime with our dog, Bounce. We love to travel, especially to Maui and to the Rocky Mountains.
