ABOUT MARC

Marc Solomon leverages his strong business background to represent local companies and entrepreneurs as general counsel and business advisor. He handles the structuring, negotiation and consummation of transactions in corporate finance, contracts, mergers and acquisitions, and exit and succession planning. A significant portion of Marc's legal practice involves representing clients in the acquisition and sale of multi-million dollar businesses. Marc's unique problem solving and deal-making approach comes in part from his experience in the corporate world. Marc was the owner, CEO and general counsel of a trucking and logistics management services business. During his tenure, the company consolidated and acquired more than 50 trucking and distribution businesses across the United States. Now, Marc helps companies and entrepreneurs in all stages of development from formation through the operation, financing, expansion, and future sale of their businesses. Whether a client’s objective is to sell the company or transfer ownership and management to family members or key employees, Marc can properly prepare the client for a successful exit. When needed, he leverages his strong network of professionals such as CPAs, bankers and business consultants to help clients improve performance and increase market value. Marc also represents clients in business contracts and transactions, business formation/choice of entity work, business and family succession planning, corporate finance and governance, executive employment, operating and shareholder agreements, and the creation of incentive compensation plans for key managers.
