ABOUT JARED

I joined Calder Capital in April of 2024. My career spans over a decade across financial and direct selling sectors, including tenures at US Bank, JPMorgan Chase, and most recently, Amway. At Amway, I held roles of Manager of Performance Marketing, Manager of Business Intelligence, and multiple Lead Analyst positions, driving insights and strategy across a global portfolio. My focus was on driving growth and operational efficiencies, blending critical thinking with creative solutions to drive results.


I earned my Bachelor's degree in finance with a minor in economics from Western Michigan University. I am a native of Grand Rapids, though my journey has taken me to the Sierra Nevada mountains in California, where I spent two summers as a camp counselor, to stints living in Denver and Chicago. I moved to Chicago to be with my now wife, Emily, who was also a Grand Rapids native. Eventually, life's journey brought us full circle back to the Grand Rapids area, choosing to settle down to be near family.


Calder Capital, LLC is a lower middle market M&A Advisory Firm focused on representing owners of industrial, distribution, and business services companies with enterprise value from $1MM-$250MM; and strategic buyers seeking platform and bolt-on acquisitions in the same market segments.


My primary focus as Strategic Services Director is on those business owners looking to make an eventual transition, whether it be in 6 months or 6 years down the road. I focus on building tangible value into the business and improving marketability so that when you are ready to sell, you can feel confident going into what is typically a once-in-a-lifetime process. Calder has the right people, connections, and resources to help navigate the best path forward and a track record of proven, repeated success.
