Jessica Owens is a seasoned banker at J.P. Morgan Private Bank, where she specializes in working closely with entrepreneurs, entertainers, and enterprising wealth creators. With a dedication to guiding her clients through complex financial decisions and balance sheets, she has become a trusted advisor in the industry.
Before embarking on her banking career, Jessica spent a decade in management roles within the entertainment community. Her experience as a band tour manager and large-scale event planner for festivals and conferences, such as South By Southwest, provided her with unique insights into the financial needs of creative professionals and families in transition.
Prior to joining J.P. Morgan Private Bank, Jessica honed her expertise as a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management and as a Private Wealth Advisor at Goldman Sachs. Her diverse background has equipped her with the skills necessary to navigate the intricate world of wealth management.
Born and raised in Michigan, Jessica now proudly calls Texas home. She holds a B.A. from Grand Valley State University and earned her M.B.A. in 2019 from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School, with a focus on Capital Markets and Investments. Committed to continuous learning, she has pursued additional training in business transition and exit planning.
Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending time with her husband—a musician turned attorney—and their beloved Bernese Mountain Dog. Together, they relish making noise at home, attending live events, and spending time with family and friends.
