I am the business valuation expert and financial analyst at Ambassador Consulting Solutions, a Chicago based strategic business consulting firm. Our firm specializes in strategic exit planning for family owned, middle market businesses with a focus on maximizing business value prior to sale. Prior to Ambassador, I spent nearly 20 years as a cash flow lender in the telecom space, underwriting and syndicating around 70 M&A transactions. Each company and its acquisition targets were valued using DCF and market multiples. The valuation conclusions were a key part of every transaction that we underwrote and closed. Over the years, I have fine tuned the art of finding the proper comparable deal stats and applying the appropriate market multiples. This skill set that takes experience and deep market knowledge – we recommend against a “plug-and-play” approach when valuing our clients businesses.


I also specialize in the execution of specific business plans crafted in consultation with business owners and accompanied by 30-60-90 and 1 year goals with accountability targets. I work on the “inside” with business owners to assist with team accountability, benchmarking and ongoing assessments of value building activities.
